Wow It’s been a year since I started this Journey. Here are the things I have done so far.
Autumn of 2021: I build up my solo hours, did my cross country flights. Those flights are crucial for autonomy and decision making in flight. They were very helpfull to help my confidence. I did my flight pre-exam but that done I knew I was not yet ready for the real thing. Because of the Eastern weather, this push my exam to the next season. Since winter is not ideal to fly, I did my last flight in December and started preparing Transport Canada (TC) PPAER exam. I registered to take the exam in February so I knew I had plenty of time having started studying in November. I did the test exam at my school to have the letter of recommendation need to present to TC. I also did my preparation with “Nizus” website which is great because they have a ton of exams simulation on each four topics. Those simulation really steered me in the right direction. Here are my results :
Global result : 78%
Air law : 85%
Navigation : 74%
Meteorology : 73,3%
Aeronautical General knowledge : 80%
It could have been better but you know… There were really weirds questions. 🙂
I will get back in the saddle in March 2022 to resume training and prepared for flight test. I would like to have it done by July.
